Current scholarship recipients this year; 17 graduates since the program began. The UNIKIK campus in Idiofa (Faculty of Forestry) was inaugurated with the support of Faja Lobi, which funds these scholarships for local students.

— The Project

Training a new generation of Congolese forestry experts is at the heart of Faja Lobi’s strategy: the project should not depend on a single person, but rather build on sustainable local expertise.

In addition to providing university scholarships, Faja Lobi runs a computer training center (with 30 laptops) and an educational botanical garden (with 475 documented local species), both of which are open to classes from nearby schools.
